As spiritual consciousness on the planet shifts from religious dogma toward a more intuitive heart centered knowing that we each can connect to through our own discernment of what is true and right and connected to the wisdom of our indigenous ancestors who lived in harmony with the earth – we find more and more people paying attention to astrological and astronomical events in our cosmos and connecting those events to the impact they have on our planet, daily lives and society.
At the same time as more and more conscious awareness is happening, social media is also exploding with spiritual influencers here to put words to the happenings beyond the veil. I’m guilty of my role in that endeavor and happy to have so many readers of my blog where I share what I know and feel, live and experience from a spiritual perspective.
All this is to say – eclipse tourism is off the charts this time around. Even an eclipse festivals in the place in Texas where the two eclipses cross paths. We have two eclipses every year. One Sun Moon conjunct (together) with the moon blocking the light of the sun from the earth. And one Sun moon opposite with the earth getting between the sun and moon, blocking the light of the sun from the moon. These eclipses happen in tandem each year, one on a full moon and one on a new moon.
From an energetic perspective eclipses are an exchange between the earth and her masculine and feminine luminaries. As well as an intimate union between the sun and moon themselves. There is a creative field that is activated during these event. The needs of the earth and her souls are observed at the full moon eclipse. And the opportunities for experience, growth and healing are made available at the new moon. I would say it’s not so much the requests of people trying to manifest something or another that are observed but more like a parent seeing what’s needed and providing the opportunity to their child(ren) to step into a new way of being.
We can only imagine what mother and father moon and sun observed at the March 19th lunar eclipse – polarization, conflict, war, misogyny, deprivation, fear, dis-harmony, suffering and disalignment with the earth. There was much solar activity right after that eclipse. And now as we approach the full moon solar eclipse Monday (a day named after and ruled by the moon), the sun’s activity has quieted. Drawing back. And in contrast we notice the earth being pulled and shifting into a new alignment with the electromagnetic resonance. We’ve experienced clusters of earthquakes surging energy outward, several in the South Pacific Ocean islands and also unexpectedly in New York. It is notable that this eclipse comes just one week after the time of the year when the earth is in its most outward expression. Flower bulbs and seeds literally springing forth from the soil on Easter a an any spiritually significant event always falling on the SUNday (named after and ruled by the Sun) following the first full moon after the vernal equinox. This year it is flanked by eclipses. Also this is a year of solar maximum creating great opportunity for massive earth shifts in the physical reality which could express as earth quakes and volcanic activity.
What else, this eclipse will be visible over the United States. This lets us know that the United States will benefit most from the creative shift field of the eclipse. When I say benefit I mean, there will be opportunities for change in whatever experience arises from the wisdom of the luminaries. We cannot know what form that will take. We can only choose how to work with the opportunity when it is presented. Doors will open and close. Events may happen that causes to question how things have always been and how they should be going forward. People may come or go. Jobs may come or go. Situations will arise that test our ability to navigate. We will have choices to make. If we choose love we will benefit. And if we choose fear we will suffer. Notice how this plays out in the U.S. and if the eclipse touches your birth chart astrologically notice how it plays out for you personally. I’m expecting a message from this eclipse myself as I have my natal sun and natal Chiron nearly exact conjunct the eclipse in my birth month of Aries. My birthday is just two days later on the 10th of April.
It’s always best to wait for the message of the eclipse rather than trying to manifest something. The eclipse has its own intention. It’s own offering to us. It could eclipse someone out of our life. Or remove an obstacle to a better life, sometimes we didn’t realize we had that obstacle and so it could seem surprising or unsettling. But in hindsight we always benefit from the opportunity of the choice field as long as we walk through from a-glass-half-full, everything- happens-for-a-reason, I-got-this, love perspective. If we go into the other perspective of fear and lack and victim, well then we’ll get an outcome that is difficult and painful but that also shifts us into a new paradigm even if kicking and screaming. Forced against our will to change and according to our choices in the face of unexpected circumstances – it could go well for us with many rewards on the other side. Or it could go badly with much angst and suffering ahead. It’s our choice.
There is a lot of talk in spiritual circles about how this eclipse could manifest. Much of that talk is not actually grounded in spiritual wisdom but rather in fear. I’ve heard one influencer say the dollar will fail. Another has predicted civil war over the presidential election. I do not believe that either of these things will exactly happen. Although there is a big potential for unexpected surprises in the days and weeks following this eclipse. I am however concerned about man made fear based events that could manifest from the significant amount of fear based expectation and intention being put out into the creative choice field during this eclipse. The Lahaina fire on Maui manifest during another spiritually significant portal on 8/8 Lionsgate that had an energetic alignment with the 808 area code of Hawaii. There is a saying, be careful what you wish for. And also an awareness that only chaos can be manifest from fear and disalignment. Be safe during this eclipse. Avoid crowds and pay attention to what’s happening around you. I’ll be leading a meditation to hold space for love and peace during this eclipse and without any push energy toward any intention or manifestation, just allowing the eclipse opportunities to present themselves so that we may choose to walk through doors and passageways to a new paradigm as they present themselves in the coming days and weeks. This eclipse has some interesting astrology supporting it. There is Venus and mars- the two lovers still in close orbit in Aries and Pisces respectively, they were conjunct at the first eclipse and are in supportive angle, watching from the front row. I imagine they whispered to the sun and moon, asking for a reunion of the masculine and feminine into a balanced relationship. And then there is a Jupiter and Uranus conjunction on April 20th also in a supporting angle giving off big, lucky celebration of some unexpected event energy. Like a lottery winning or celebrity wedding reception after an elopement. And all the while the Sun and Chiron the wounded healer are conjunct and almost every planet in our solar system have crowded into Aries, the first and most action oriented zodiac to be in the room for this eclipse. Like everyone knows something big is happening to be witnessed and we’re invited to the ceremony. This is the christening of the new earth. Chiron the wounded healer and Centaur is the godfather. This is the celestial parents presenting what has been birthed over the last few years to the public. And all the hangers on of the old paradigm, the religious narcissist and greedy earth destroyers and war mongers are going to be set aside. As a new way forward emerges. The world will subtly and through a series of circumstances shift into a new paradigm. One where love overcomes fear. Where the divine feminine rises. And the divine masculine heals and comes into balance. With Eris conjunct the Sun and Moon, Persephone energies the god-mother of new earth- witnessing and overseeing the rise of the divine feminine.
And that same rare comet that flew over when Queen Elizabeth was crowned as the matriarch of the patriarchy – that comet will sprinkle in the situation that empowers a patriarch of the matriarchy. Notice.
